Gmail

I applied several jobs on a Monday, giving out the Gmail acct to the employers, but since then, the Gmail acct became unable to login, it has asked me my cell phone number, and told me “We've detected unusual activity on your account. To immediately restore access to your account, type your cell phone number”.  But even though I gave out a number, still there was no way for me to get into the email account. Why after the job application activities, the email account would have a problem?  If the potential employer did contact with me, I couldn’t see it anyway, therefore, no response. Obviously, at least somebody didn’t want me to get a job. Then, I told the email acct’s password on a Saturday after the gym dancing, ever since then, the email acct was suspended.
