The things I learned from Chinese history studying recently: (9/23/2011)
1. The most stupid thing to do would be to kill or hurt your own side’s people due to the jealoucy, at least as a big boss, you should consider use their wisdoms to help you reach your goal.
2. Those 开国功臣who had汗马功劳 (the most valuable contribution guys, especially the wisdom people) should be given encouragement and rewards instead of punishment, otherwise, your other later on valuable people, would feel so cold that you, as the big boss are not a good boss to be with, so that they might go to your enemy’s side to contribute their widoms, and that was what your enemies wanted the most. K and some other boys would be considered as this “most valuable wisdom people” category. Without such kind of people, everything would not be that easy as the ultimate winner.
3. Speaking of rewarding your team members, especially the most valuable beginning people when everything was in a chaos, I think the degree of rewarding them for either more power or financial rewarding would tell a leader’s overall good quality as a leader, such as his “consideration, generosity, lenionship, and definitely “not 忌才妒能”, (no jealoucy of your surbodinate’s wisdom and your own team member’s good quality, but use it smartly, or improve yourself, K is such kind of guy).
